Business has a responsibility to be an active member of the
community in which it resides.
We take
that very seriously at your Charlottesville Ben & Jerry’s! Since

2009, we have donated over 5,000 scoops
of ice cream directly to community non-profits organizations to support
fundraising efforts. We would love to
meet with you to talk about how we can help your organization as well! Download our Donation Request From
here, or see our list of community partners
here for more information on how you can get involved in your local community.
Our biggest community celebration each year is Free Cone
Day, and we LOVE to give out free scoops in Charlottesville. Since we opened in 1999, we have given away almost
100,000 Free Cone Day scoops! Taking
advantage of this terrific community based event, we have also raised over
$30,000 for the Virginia Institute

of Autism (
www.viaschool.org) during Free Cone Day events. Beginning in 2009, we have partnered with
other Charlottesville businesses to make Free Cone Day a mobile event, and we
would love to partner with your workplace as well. Click
here for more
information. Additionally, in 2008 we
served over 4,000 Free Cone Day scoops to all employees of the City of
Charlottesville, including all 9 city schools, police, fire and rescue!
The staff at Ben & Jerry’s Charlottesville has helped make
our community stronger as well. We have
participated in Habitat for Humanity (
www.cvillehabitat.org) builds, collected
for Toy Lift (
www.kidslift.org), and donated over 500 pounds of canned goods to
the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (
www.brafb.org). We have also sponsored numerous Vermonster
eating contests with our community partners!
